Very good. We were in the area and stopped in. Placed an order over the phone had it within a half hour. Crabcakes and scallops were awesome! Darn covid screwed up our plans but we made the best of it

we went around 3 in the afternoon. it was quiet and low keyed. we had the twilight menu. I had steak,salad. A veg. n desert. everything was so good n very reasonable. we all liked our meals. will deff go again at that time.

Amazing food. Quick service. The wait is extremely long 2 hours but it's well worth it! If you go early like we did like 3pm the wait is only like 30 minutes. Nice place.

If I could learn how to run a restaurant from anyone, it would be the Crab Trap. Not only have I never had a bad meal in all the my visits I've never had a bad item or drink. The seafood is fresh and delicious. I love the clams casino, clam chowder, and fried seafood combo. Add a Bloody Mary and its perfection. Great service and great food from a place that is always busy. The staff and management are what make this place so special. Thank you for years of great dining and family memories.

Had a great dinner with my wife there on a Monday night. Service was very quick but not pushy. The meal was very good, both of us had the seafood with a soup appetizer. My meal came with a salad and two sides. Nice booth in a large dining area but it was not loud. Overall nice experience. Has a large bar up front for cocktails and after dinner drinks.

Nice, relaxed and quiet environment tucked in on the bay by the bridge. Service was super slow for lunch on a Sunday but it was also very polite. Not sure if the waiter was new or not but he would check on our table every 25 min leaving us with empty plates and empty drinks. The food is excellent with a HUGE menu full of options. Clientele is nowhere under 40 years of age. My lunch came with a choice desert of rice pudding served in a grandma dish 😆. When the season comes around the outside bar, "Crabby Jack's"will open up for more of the younger, lively groups. I recommend this restaurant for business clients and date nights.

Our server JEFF was OUTSTANDING!!!!!! Jeff was very attentive,but not over burdensome. Jeff went above and beyond to make my wife and I feel welcome. So make sure to ask for Jeff the next time you go to the Crab Trap!!!!

My family and I have been enjoying the varied menu at The Crab Trap for 40+ years. Excellent selection of seafood, beef and chicken. Their Crab Imperial and Lobster Bisque are amazingly delicious! Ask for Rebecca as your waitress for an even better dining experience!

Quick and attentive service from our server Julia. The food came quickly and was served hot with the exception of my wife's vegetable. Aside from that an excellent meal.

THE BEST PLACE TO EAT EVER! It's my favorite thing is the crab balls. U have to eat here it's amazing food and service!!

The place to go for real fresh, perfectly prepared seafood. Really enjoyed everything we had for dinner. Drinks, soup, salad, entree and dessert. Definitely will return soon.

This is a busy place with a lot of older customers. I was persuaded to order the crab cakes since they were touted as "the best for 30 years" (sic). They were not very good. I could only eat one and gave the other away. I actually have had better crab cakes in Colorado.

The grilled crab cakes and shrimp scampi were excellent. We did curbside pickup and it was ready on time. They even unexpectedly added homemade dinner rolls and cookies to our order at no charge. Will definitely come back here when we visit Ocean City again.

As a crab cake connoisseur I am highly disappointed in my order after such high remarks were made by trusted friends and family about Somer's Point Crab Trap. Indeed this place is a trap. My deviled crabcakes tasted much alike dry mashed potatoes. My vegetables acted like they had only seen 5 seconds of boiling water before being boxed. My bread was cardboard off the nearest "Lost Pet" poster. The only thing that was delicious enough for full consumption was the clam. I might come back at some point to try again.

We absolutely LOVE the crab trap. The food never disappoints. The restaurant was busy as expected for a Saturday night but our server annalese was quick, on point, and helped make our experience even more enjoyable.

Ordered take out crab cakes and everything was delicious !! The packaging was excellent! Food was hot and super easy to pu ! Great job !

Best deviled clam! My lobster tail was cold, but I still enjoyed it! The flounder on the fried combination was way too thin, the breading was thicker than the fish. But still glad I picked to go here for my birthday.

The service was excellent and the food came out in a timely manner. I got the deluxe crab cakes, and they the amazing!! Definitely going back there in the future

Completely unexpected surprise. I have been told to come here many times but for no other reason that "its good". Well in the summer with resturants wait times and hot beach days a dinner establishment can be "good" just because your hungry. Not the case here...it really is "good". I came her in Feb, first friday of lent. Quaint bar with live music, lobster tank at hostess stand, and white table cloth dining, with casually dressed people. Food was outstanding right through to desert at a price that wont break the bank. Make this a dinner stop, but keep in mind summer lines will be long.

No wait at 5pm on a Saturday during off season, don't let the crowed parking lot fool you. Nice service, very accommodating. Grilled Salmon & Scallops were great! A definite repeat restaurant.

Great Martini's and sitting at the BAR is the way to go.

Food was good, but I don't think the potion size is worth the money spent. Service was okay, they didn't have many waiters working on a Saturday, which was weird. Place was packed, but food came out in a decent amount of time. Don't know if it's worth going back because of the potion size

My absolute best restaurant around here. I can't even explain the atmosphere and excellent food. The crab bisque soup is to die for. Don't take my word for it, just go..

Great food at reasonable prices. Staff is always pleasant. Miss the Trenton oyster crackers they used to serve with horseradish!

Always a great meal.. although you cant see there smile you know they are!! Service was awesome.. highly recommend them for any occasion..

Delicious seafood. This is a large restaurant with a huge bar. The food was excellent; we liked everything we ordered. We went there vases on a recommendation from a local person. She said that if we want the superb seafood, we should go to the Crab Trap.

Atmosphere and ambience was delightful. I was however surprisingly disappointed with my dinner. I had the dinner special scallops over lobster with rice but I couldn't find the lobster. There was one small chunk of lobster maybe a half inch in size. Portions have reduced in size. After driving for a hour and a half with excitement, I was sadly disappointed. At a price of $27 I expected more. I wouldn't recommend this meal and definitely will not order it again.

The food here is amazing. They don't have in-person dining right now, but their curb-side pick up was fast and efficient. Better than any other restaurant I've been to.

Advises.Go when they are not busy. My food, twin lobster tails and prime rib, were 90% perfect. My P. Rib could have been warmer. That being said everything else was100% My wife had steamers and role me they were on the nose. I had the crab bisque. AWSOME.Our server was there when we needed and invisible.otherwise. she never pushed or seemed rushed and was our sole attendance in other words I hate it when you have one person who takes your order and you never see that person again until they drop off the check.As a former pastry chef I can tell you that the chocolate mousse cake was flawless. To the point that I'm actually angry that it was better than my own.All that being said all I can say is go there enjoy yourself splurge on yourself and have a great time.

Bartenders were well dressed and attentive. My martini was perfect. The crab soup was delicious. The clams casino was awesome too. All in all it was a great place to stop for a bite and a drink. I noticed it was getting pretty busy pretty early.

Valentine's Day lunch with my wonderful wife. We sat at the bar (where we usually sit when only the two of us). Typical good service with the too busy bartenders. The pours are always adequate, if not generous. And their bar brands are good. We both had the Cajun Seafood special (shrimp, scallops, mussels & mushrooms on linguine) and it was delicious. So much so we are going to try to get same added to the regular menu. Portion was large enough that we brought what was left home and added some additional pasta (well..... not just pasta - fresh garlic & mushrooms sauteed in butter, seasoning, etc.) and had it for lunch today. My poor wife is being forced to meet some friends at the Crab Trap for lunch tomorrow and refuses to take me. Drat. Highly recommended for an excellent seafood meal.

We were a party of 13 during peak hours on a Saturday and our service was outstanding! Our Server Adrianna did a great job of making us feel like we’re we the only party there! We never had an empty glass or a dirty plate left on the table. She was friendly & professional. The food was outstanding. Can’t wait to return.

This was my first time going here, the service was good, the waitress was very nice. Over all a good pit stop for a birthday lunch

Thr food was delicious.. We shared the crab cake tacos, it was so delicious!!! My boyfriend got the angus berger, it came with potato salad ..He said it was really good..I got the santa fe salad, it was really good... It took a long time to get another drink though.. We highly recommend Crabby Jacks .

Everything was so delicious, so I can see why this place is so popular. Parking in the nearby lot was convenient. Service was great. We will absolutely be back and we have already raved about it to others. We were visiting from 1000 miles away, and this was a very satisfying Jersey dining experience.

Last night, I had Daniel as a waiter, He was perfect! He was very helpful and helped my whole party choose the best meal to suit our needs. I will come back just for him! He has a beautiful smile! The service was excellent! The food was amazing! We had a great evening and wonderful experience with Danny!
